Tecom Electronics’ family of TechPod lecterns are designed for ease of customer use and easy dealer installation.  The Interactive is equipped right out of the box with many, if not all of the features your client may need.  You’ll find TechPod’s user friendly control system and interface, a high end PC with two easy access USB ports, a DVD/VCR combo, a composite video input, document camera, a complete PA audio system with gooseneck microphone and speakers, and a 17″ interactive monitor with interactive pen and software.  Optional modules are also available for controlling a motorized screen and up to 3 zones of room lighting.  And now the TechPod Interactive can connect directly to your iPad. 

Customers love the durabilty of our metal enclosure rather than the nicks, gouges or peeling off of laminates sometimes associated with wood.  If you need additional functionality, go ahead and add whatever you’d like.  There’s room in the cabinet!

In the standard configuration, TechPod installation is as easy as learning the IR codes to turn a projector on and off and delivering the lectern.  An umbilical cord from the unit plugs into power, data, VGA and any optional devices.  Like we said; easy!  In fact, a recent install of 50 TechPod Interactive units in a major US university took the installer 3 days!  Of course, some low voltage work would be required if tying into room lights, a motorized screen or the house sound system.
