Philips Broadens Their Reach

The first quarter of 2012 brought a significant increase to the product lineup for Philips Public Signage Solutions. The product line is distributed worldwide exclusively through MMD, a wholly owned subsidiary of TPV – one of the largest monitor manufacturers in the world. The lineup now features 23 models across categories including Economy, Value, LED, Video Wall, Multi-Touch and No-Glasses 3-D.

All models are backed by MMD’s industry leading 3-Year Advanced Replacement Warranty, assuring fast turnaround and low ongoing cost for the life of the Display. In addition to Smart Power, which places Philips Public Signage Displays among the lowest energy consumption monitors available, 16 Models now feature Philips’ Smart Insert with onboard mounting, power, and cable management for digital signage media players.

Connect and Project from your Smart Phone

Casio’s Green Slim, already an industry leading portable with its thin profile, 2x optical zoom, and lamp-free operation, received a significant upgrade in January of 2012 with the addition of wireless connectivity for Mac and MobiShow.

Until the release, only PC’s were supported in the portable line. Mobishow, a free app from Awind Inc. that allows any presenter with an iPhone, iPad, Android or Blackberry to present PowerPoint or Photos directly, and wirelessly, from their device. MobiShow was added to the Casio lineup in May of 2011 as a feature in the Signature Series projectors. Immediately the market asked if MobiShow would be added to Green Slim, and Casio was listening.
